It's Teen Time

Teen Time … when disability doesn’t matter, and you can just have fun being a teenager. Variety’s newest program will get teens of all abilities together for dynamic activities once a month, providing a time for them to hang out with friends, try new things and have a great time in a safe, accessible environment.

First up: Bowling! Come on out to Brunswick Zone in Chesterfield as we kick off the Teen Time program on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 1-3 p.m. On March 24, teens will visit Baked Goods Pottery in South County.

“There aren’t many choices for teens with disabilities to stay connected to their peers,” said Variety Program Director Barb Kramer. “There also aren’t a lot programs that offer the types of support needed for many teens to have a successful experience in a mainstream environment.”

Teen Time activities are free of charge, and all teens are invited to join in the fun! For more information, click here. Please RSVP to July at (314) 720-7717 or julie@varietystl.org.
