Butterflies in Our Stomach

...not because we're nervous, but because we are SO excited about next week's family outing to the Butterfly House and Faust Park!

The outing -- scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, from 4-7 p.m. -- is part of an in-house program called "St. Louis Through the Eyes of a Child with a Disability." (That's a mouthful, huh?)

In a nutshell, "St. Louis Through the Eyes..." outings make exploring local treasures easy for the entire Variety family.  Variety kids, along with their parents and siblings, get to have a fun learning experience, while also meeting other Variety families who are experiencing similar situations and challenges.

Next week will be our first visit to the Butterfly House and Faust Park (where we'll even get to ride the St. Louis Carousel) -- and we can't wait!  Have you registered your family yet?  If not, do so now by clicking here.

Variety is able to provide these outings free of charge to families thanks to the generous support and vision of Mary Ann Lee, who first recognized the need for an excursion that involved the entire family...not just children with disabilities.

Any ideas on where we should go next year?  Let us know at info@varietystl.org!
