Last night at Busch Stadium was a winner on all accounts – the Cards beat the Houston Astros, and four Variety families got to watch from a luxury suite donated by Bank of America.
Variety and our families are so grateful to Bank of America for this opportunity – an encore, if you will, of our "Variety Night at the Ballpark" on May 2. On that night, Variety kid Robbie threw out the first pitch with Variety Woman of the Year Pat Mercurio, president of Bank of America in Missouri. Pat and Robbie became fast friends, and Pat learned that Robbie desperately wanted the opportunity to take his 93-year-old grandmother to the Cardinals' game. She and Bank of America made that happen, generously donating another luxury suite to Variety for Wednesday's game.
Joining Robbie and his friends and family were Variety kids Kaitlyn, Emily and CJ and their families. The weather was beautiful – so the outdoor seats were the hot spots – but everyone immensely enjoyed the food and amenities inside the suite, as well. Check out more photos on Facebook!
Thank you, Bank of America!
