Kaldi’s Coffee and Schnucks Markets proved recently that the power of coffee goes far beyond an energy boost. Throughout the month of April, Kaldi’s put a special “Variety Blend” coffee on the racks at participating Schnucks Markets, and Variety received a portion of the proceeds from each pound sold – adding up to $1,000!

At Variety, $1,000 will go far – it can fund two bath chairs to support children in the tub, a back brace for a child with curvature in the spine, or even five sets of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) software for an iPad, iPhone or iPod for a child who is otherwise unable to talk.

Kaldi’s Owner Josh Ferguson sits on the Young Variety Board, and Schnucks is a long-time corporate sponsor. Schnucks stores selling the “Variety Blend” were O’Fallon, Culinaria, Richmond, Ladue, Kirkwood, Woodsmill, Twin Oaks and Des Peres.
