Old Salt Union plugs Night of the Rising Stars on FOX 2

Last week, the lads of Old Salt Union stopped by the "Tim Ezell at 9am" show on FOX 2 to share a tune and talk about Variety.

The locally beloved bluegrass band is our opener for Night of the Rising Stars, a fundraising concert May 1 at the Pageant. "The Voice" finalist Nicholas David headlines the bill. The band got the chance to talk about the gig on FOX 2 before launching into a rendition of "Morning Song."

The Riverfront Times named Old Sald Union its Bluegrass Band of the Year in 2013. Since then, the Belleville quintet has brought its harmonies to venues ranging from local bars to the Daytona 500.

Watch their performance on Ezell's show below:

Tickets for the show are still available at the Pageant! Grab 'em here.

Star Wars Night with the St. Louis Blues had no shortage of distractions for visiting fans, not the least of which was an exciting match between the Blues and the visiting Minnesota Wild.
