Variety Children’s Theatre, a major endeavor of Variety the Children’s Charity of St. Louis, is a unique production that showcases the talents of theatrically gifted children and adults in an inclusive setting, with children of all disabilities on stage.
Put professional adult and child actors onstage alongside the Variety children, and magic happens! Yet this type of magic goes far beyond the stage. It changes each member of our cast and crew. Variety’s mantra of “I CAN!” shines through every actor – especially those children who have disabilities, as they sing and dance with the best professionals in town!
This year’s production, Peter Pan, will demonstrate everything that Variety believes in. From flying through the rafters to performing with pirates and lost boys, every child actor and everyone in the crowd will surely be reminded of how it feels to just be a kid!
All rehearsals from September 8 – October 19 will take place at the MUNY in the Backstage Rehearsal Studios. Rehearsals on October 21, 22 and 23, along with all performances will take place at the Touhill Performing Arts Center. Please note that rehearsals are subject to change when necessary.
