Taste of the Vineyard

The 2007 Taste of the "Italian" Vineyard was a huge success.  The event attracted nearly 400 guests and raised $22,000 for Variety's children!  Another $5,833 was raised that night, thanks to an after-party at Araka, a restaurant that recently opened in Clayton.  During its opening party, Araka charged $10 at the door for drinks and hors d'oeuvres, and donated the proceeds to Variety.  Thank you to Araka, and to Taste of the Vineyard guests, for helping us serve children with physical and mental disabilities in the Greater St. Louis area!

Young Variety's Taste of the Italian Vineyard featured reds and whites from throughout Italy, as well as complimentary hors d'oeuvres from five local restaurants: Bar Italia Ristorante-Caffe, Monarch, Brandt's Café, Café Napoli and Oceano Bistro.  Dueling pianists from Jive and Wail, the piano bar that recently opened in Maplewood, provided entertainment.
