Variety has been an integral part of the St. Louis community for more than 75 years, which is why it’s only fitting that we recognize the individuals and organizations that make our city a better place to live, work and play.
Variety’s annual Man & Woman of the Year honor recognizes St. Louis philanthropists who are playing an active role in shaping the local community. Awarded at the Dinner with the Stars gala each spring, the list of past winners is a veritable Who’s Who of St. Louis through the years.

In today’s world, we know spare time is hard to come by. And that’s all the more reason we are so thankful of the volunteers who donate what spare time they do have to Variety. Annually, we recognize the exemplary volunteers who have been involved with Variety for more than five years and whose unpaid dedication to our cause has raised the bar for community service.
